Zhenya and Tanya Posternak are twin-sisters from Kyiv, Ukraine. The collaborative photography duo are currently based in New York.

Of this image they note:

“The photograph [was] taken in Kyiv last summer, it's the most common kind of ice cream our grandparents know from the soviet years until now; it holds a lot of sentimental value and strength in its naïveté.”
